Adaptable; to adjust to new conditions.
If there is one message, theme, way of life that should be taught universally it is simply this:
There is nothing more valuable as individuals and more importantly, as a world community, than learning how to be, and teaching others how to become more adaptable. In fact our lives depend on it.
At the end of the day, if the prices of gas went up again, another politician got caught skimming money, lied or broke their campaign promises again, your car broke down in the middle of the highway, your roof leaked, you lost your job, your spouse cheated on you, a loved one died or you have no food for supper, think about the following words: This too shall pass.
In troubled times is when we need to be able to adapt the most. We can become either paralyzed or empowered by these difficult times we face depending on how we are able to cope and/or adapt. Whether we make things happen or let them happen greatly depends upon our ability to adapt.The more we get better at adapting, the less negative impact these situations will have on us because we will be able to manage them better. Unfortunately, there isn’t much out there in the way of effective, free tools that help people to adapt and manage their lives better.
What we are missing on a global level are systems that will help us to become more adaptable.
